Good evening lovelies! Hair supplements have really been a big deal. I’ve been wanting to try some for a while, but I’m REALLY picky about what goes in my body! I’ve taken Nature’s Bounty HSN Gummies for quite a while now, and it’s been fine. Like, I wouldn’t say any phenomenal growth although my hair is healthy. My nails are eh, and my skin is good. I haven’t had any side effects.
But, like I said, I also haven’t had any significant hair growth, good yes, but nothing record-breaking. So, when I received the opportunity to try Hair La Vie by La Muse Beauty free in exchange for my honest review, I was very interested, and somewhat skeptical!
During my in-depth and extreme research
blogs, Facebook, reviews, Youtube, their website my very advanced/technical research:
How does Hair La Vie work?
La Muse combined 20 clinically proven ingredients to create Hair La Vie. Each vitamin and active ingredient has been selected specifically for its healing nutrients. We start at your root, combining organic kelp powder and saw palmetto berry powder to begin repairing your hair’s follicles. This helps clear any film, regulate resting time and inhibit follicle shrinkage. Strong follicles grow strong hair. Next, we take care of your scalp with a healthy dose of biotin, pantothenic acid and flax seed oil powder, which promotes a healthy metabolism of oils on the scalp, preventing dryness and keeps the scalp clear of dandruff and other debris. This also strengthens the elasticity of your hair’s cortex, preventing breakage. Finally, we added multiple natural antioxidants and other all-natural ingredients that work together to build strong, healthy, thick hair. We did all this with absolutely no unhealthy filler or artificial ingredients.
What makes La Muse Hair La Vie the best choice on the market today?
Hair La Vie has 20 clinically proven active ingredients (many more than any other product on the market today), which mix together to make a formula that not only restarts the growth process, but it strengthens and protects the hair with essential vitamins, such as, vitamin A, B1, B2, B3 and B6. We built this formula with no unnecessary fillers, binders or artificial colors or flavors. It is surrounded by a fast-absorbing veggie capsule.
I also found this comparison chart interesting:
Alright. So I’m confident enough to take these without causing harm to myself. Because having great hair isn’t really worth kicking the bucket. I literally researched every single ingredient to learn about it, is anybody else that insane?
I only had one true area of concern, and that’s the ingredient Horsetail, which contains naturally occurring Nicotine. It’s what has stopped me from taking all of the other hair growth vitamins on the market, like It Works HSN. It’s the reason I settled on Nature’s Bounty, because it doesn’t contain Horsetail (maybe this is why it doesn’t work the bomb?). I actually contacted It Works months ago, raised this concern, and never received a response. #fail. I sent a Facebook message to Hair La Vie and boy am I IMPRESSED! They replied so quickly and professionally! Here is the exact response:
Hello Tomika, here is the exact email we received from our manufacturing department. Hopes this helps =)
“The alkaloid nicotine is present in minute amounts, less than 1ppm, which is 0.00004% of its entire volume. So when used in a blend, like in the HLV capsules, it is an even smaller percentage. Heating and other processing factors can possible rid it of most, if not all, of the minutes amounts of nicotine content from the final product.
To compare it against other common food, it becomes even more obvious that there is very little to worry about.
Tomatoes have 7ng (nanograms) of nicotine per gram of tomato. Potatoes have an average of 15ng per gram. Even eggplant, which is purported to have the highest natural levels next to tobacco, still only contains 100ng per gram. To give you an idea of how truly small this is, there are one billion nanograms in one gram. So the amount consumed with these foods is of no concern. Horsetail has even less.”
The conclusion? I’m done eating tomatoes and potatoes. So glad I had a baked potato for lunch today! I kid (although I really did eat a baked potato right before getting the reply, LOL)! I’ll continue eating potatoes and tomatoes, and I’ve added Hair La Vie to the list!
So, I measured my twa. I didn’t measure in 500 little spots all over. I simply measured the top (front) and the back. (Top is 2 1/2 inches and the back is 3. I cut most of the relaxer out of my back first, so it was healthier and grew faster.)
Here’s where we are at now (car selfie, and yes, that’s a gray hair, don’t judge) **sidenote, I have 3 gray hairs, and all are visible and not hidden in the depths of my head, rude.**
Let’s touch base in 60 days after I’m done with my 2 month supply of Hair La Vie.
Have a Fashionable Night,
