Neutrogena Body Oil: Light Sesame Formula

body oil

It is during the cold fall and winter months that it’s particularly challenging to keep your skin well-hydrated.  There is nothing worse than pulling down your jeans and being confronted with a body and butt full of ASH aka dry scaly skin!  Not cute!  Therefore, I’m always on the hunt for great moisturizers, body oils and lotions.  I stumbled upon Neutrogena Body Oil a while back and wanted to chat with my chicas about this!

WILL WE BE FASHIONABLE?  The upside to this product is that it’s fragrance free–I love that.  I have really sensitive skin, and so with this product, I didn’t have to worry about any adverse funky reactions.

However, for me, this product was a little too light and the sheen that I love to see on my skin didn’t last long.  Oddly enough though, I didn’t like the way it felt on my face…it felt like someone fried a porkchop on my face (which I didn’t expect since it felt so light everywhere else).  And, it’s really messy, no matter how careful you are applying, it’s guaranteed to end up all over the bottle and in a ring in the cabinet.  I wish the consistency were thicker.  It’s not a complete fail, but not a repeat buy for me!

What are some of your favorite fall/winter products for your body to combat dry skin?

**Side note: I’m happy to report that you can now stay Fashionably on Facebook!  Let’s get over there, get to know each other and also discuss some of the latest trends in makeup, clothing, hair and more!

Thanks for the review! I see this product at all the drug stores but never tried it. I also like Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Body Gel Oil.
