WILL WE BE FASHIONABLE? So I’m a big fan of Matte lip shades. This one is terrific because it doesn’t leave your lips dry. Striking is a deep and rich purple for those of you feeling bold and sassy! It’s also highly pigmented. It comes in a pencil – like form, and the upside is that it doesn’t break like lipstick can. It is like a pencil and a lipstick made a baby! Also, some matte shades can appear blotchy and uneven in color distribution. Striking is NOT one of them! One of my faves! Werk!
Showy: This was one of them! Lol
While moisturizing, this color was extremely blotchy and almost looked chalky. It may also be that this color didn’t compliment my dark skin well, however, I do wear some other pinks similar in shade and have had good results.
Striking: I like this one too! The color is a great hue of red–very bright and vibrant. It lasts well and doesn’t bleed. Absolutely perfect for a night out, although I’m not one to conform to night vs. day looks and will wear this anytime!
Revlon has some great products in the Colorburst Matte Balms. Certainly worth it to try, easily accessible as you can purchase these at about any store. And worth the price! Let me know if you’ve tried these, which ones and what you think!
